Condolences:
We wanted to share our condolences with Shirley’s family. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to a loved one. The pain of loss can be unbearable. Our Creator promises us that one day this pain will be just a memory. That beautiful promise can be found at Revelation 21:3, 4. Our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. We hope you find comfort in those promises.

I'm sorry for your loss of your loved one. May you gain comfort from Hosea 13:14 that God will reunite us with our loved ones.. I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction..

Condolences:
I worked with Shirley at the VCHD for many years. She was such a dear caring nurse. She recommended my niece have her eyesight checked which resulted in glasses and better grades for her. She drove from DeLand for my wedding in 1982 and was part of my shower surprise. What a sweet caring lady. She was a mentor when I was first hired I am so sorry for your family's loss. I am sure God has a special place for her. I'm not sure when she left. I was transferred from DeLand and kind of lost contact. I retired in 2002. I recently returned to Volusia County from SC and am glad I saw her obit.Sincerely Gwen McKim
