I met Sherry through my daughter, Kirsten Blackwell. I only know Sherry from what Kirsten told me about her. Kirsten loved her and considered her a best friend, a caring, giving and loving person. I am so sorry that Sherry lost her battle, but God has a beautiful Angel with Him now. I wish I had known her better, I know my life would have been enriched by being her friend. Godspeed, sweet Sherry. You will always be in the hearts of those who love you.

My mother was the strongest ,and softest heart anyone would have met . I will miss her every single day. She was the best. She loved me unconditionally. She taught me great work ethic ,how to treat people, and not waist a second of the life given. Always had my back no matter what .she always made sure I did good and whooped my ass when i didn't. She is my angel in heaven that will not ever be forgotten.

I meet Sherry back in the 80's. She was always the brightest light in the room. Ginny Pruett and I had greatest times of lives when we hang out with Sherry. She was always so kind, loving and her crazy self back then. Seen Sherry back in April at Ginny's breast cancer fundraiser and she still is the brightest light in the room till this day. My beautiful friend you can now be our Guardian angel. Let those wings soar and watch over us. You will be truely missed my friend. I will never forget you.

Like a second mom to me, remembering being little and always tackling Aunt Sherry when we went out to eat, and God help the world if she wasn't our waitress. Summers spent at the house, swimming, trying to con her into swimming with me, the parties, seeing her out on the island in the bay. Aunt sherry, you are one the best influences I had growing up... I love you and I know your wings are taking care of everyone in heaven and down here

Our entire family will dearly miss Sherry, our beloved sister-in-law, who lit up the room with her smile, kindness, and humor. She never met a stranger, led our family prayers before holiday gatherings, and connected with us all. RIP Sherry. Our family has gained a guardian angel.
