Jeffery N. Porter

Jeffrey N. Porter, 62, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at Season’s Hospice.

Jeff was born in Wilmington, DE, the son of the late Thomas and Phyllis Porter. He attended Delcastle High School and went on to work in plumbing and heating industry. He spent his later working years with Brown & Root, DiSabatino Roofing, and DuPont. Jeff loved playing golf and would NEVER miss an Eagles football game. His happiest times were with his family, especially his son Alex.

Jeff was also predeceased by his brother, Phillip Porter. He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Alexander Porter (Misty Carpenter); his brother, Thomas Porter (Joyce); Judy Porter, several nephews; and his former spouse, Johanna Laskaris.

Funeral services will be private. A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Season's Hospice.

My condolences to Joanna, Alex, Tom, Joyce, and Judy as well as Jeff's nieces and nephews. Jeff had the biggest heart and kindest soul. I will always remember that about him. To the Porter Family : i am so deeply saddened to see Jeff's passing. No words can ever ease you grief , but know he is missed by many. I loved working with Jeff , who always strived to "get it done" , and done right. He was one of the best co-workers i ever had.
