Michael J. Schorah

Michael Jerome Schorah, age 53, of Wilmington, DE, passed away at Christiana Hospital on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 surrounded by his family.

Born in Wilmington, Michael was the son of Theresa B. (Britingham) Schorah and Jerome F. Schorah. He was employed by Wilmington Billiards where he made pool tables. He also painted for people in their homes and their small projects.   He will be dearly missed by his family.

Michael was predeceased by his brother, Daniel W. Schorah.  He is survived by parents; his daughter, Candice Schorah of Salisbury, MD and her daughter, Josephine; his sister, Bernadette Enriquez and her husband, Julio of Kennett Square, PA; and his twin sister, Barbara Ann Schorah of Wilmington, DE.; and his several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 25th at 11 AM at St. John Beloved Catholic Church, 905 Milltown Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808 where friends and family are invited to visitation after 10 AM. Burial will follow at Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Mealey Funeral Homes & Crematory, P.O. Box 2866, Wilmington, DE 19805 to help to defray funeral costs.  (302) 652-5913
