Harwinton and Newark— Viola Molitor a long-time resident of Harwinton, CT went to be with the Lord on Sunday the 27th of January. She passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter in Newark, DE surrounded by her family.
Born in 1923 in Torrington, CT, she was the daughter of the late Warren Reynolds Sr. and Anna Peters Reynolds. Viola worked for many years at her family’s business, Reynolds Foundry, and then worked in child and hospice care.
Everyone who came in contact with Viola were embraced by her kindness, selflessness, nurturing and nonjudgmental nature. Family, children, and caring for others were the most important things in the world to her. She was a second grandma and second mom to many. She touched many lives with the beauty of her soul. The world is a better place because she was in it and she is greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Molitor of Chadds Ford PA, Paula Sullivan of Newark DE, and her precious grandchildren who were the light of her life, Jaimie Olsen and her husband, Adam of Winchester TN and Lauren Steele and her husband, Justin of Decherd TN. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Wyatt Olsen, Connor Olsen, Jack Olsen, and Violet Olsen. We all just gained a guardian Angel and we know she will be watching over us all. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert Molitor and brothers, Warren, Vernon, and Thomas Reynolds.
Services will be private.
