Stephen P. Kotalik, Sr.

Stephen P. Kotalik, Sr., 95 of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at his home.

Mr. Kotalik was born in Ashley, PA and served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II as a supply truck driver. He worked for General Motors as a welder for 30 years. Steve was a long time parishioner and usher at St. John the Beloved Church and was a member of the Hockessin VFW Post 5892 and the UAW. His wife, Mary (Carozzo) Kotalik passed away in 2015.

Steve is survived by his daughter, Cecilia, also of Wilmington, DE and his son and daughter-in-law, Stephen Jr. and Cecilia of Catonsville, MD and his grandchildren, Ian, Naya and Leanna.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 3, 2020 at St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington at 12:30 pm, where friends may visit after 11:30 am. Burial will be at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, DE. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Wounded Warriors Project,
