Rosemary Jeanne Snow VanAuken of Richmond passed away on December 3, 2019 after a courageous five-year battle with breast cancer.
Born in Wilmington, Delaware on June 7, 1956, Rosemary moved to Virginia in 1970, graduating from Colonial Heights High School in 1975. She subsequently earned a nursing degree at Petersburg Hospital and served as a registered nurse concentrating in psychiatric care in the greater Richmond area for more than 35 years.
Rosemary was predeceased by her father, John Edward Snow (1962) and her mother, Mary Catherine Nolan Snow Watson (2015). She is survived by her beloved daughter, Kathleen VanAuken, of Glen Allen. Other survivors include siblings, John, David, Gerard and Barbara, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and numerous cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday January 17, 2020 at 1:30 P.M. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 2505 Centerville Road Wilmington, DE 19808 for both Rosemary and her brother, David Snow.
