My favorite memories of Uncle Rick include: Every Christmas for the past 15 years, kicking back a few of Mike's famous eggnogs then chatting together, laughing at the kids and napping intermittently by the fireplace at the Green's on Jack's way, Going metal detecting with him and his friend in DELCO (especially the time he helped find my wedding ring in the compost pile behind my house), and the time he replaced the faucet in our bathroom. He was so skillful when it came to facilities work. Everybody would ask him about maintaining or replacing household stuff, and he was always willing to give advise or lend a hand. My deepest sympathies go out to his close family and friends in Delaware, California, and everywhere in-between.

Marybeth and girls, I share in this season of sorrow yet additionally share in the affection and recollections of Uncle Rick. I loved our Malibu mountain bike rides and hikes. He was a great supporter of all his family and looked forward to family gatherings. I will sure miss him and his infectious joy, smile and laugh. My love to you all ❤️ JoAnn

I am Randy LeBlanc’s only sister from Louisiana. When we first began visiting California in the late 60’s and early 70’s, my younger brother and I were privileged to stay in the Medlock home that Rick shared with his wonderful mother, Lee. What fond memories I have of those visits. Rick was between the age of myself and my brother, James and he’d invite his cousins over to play guitar and just hang out. I also VIVIDLY recall sharing in Rick’s first visit to New Orleans, LA. when he was only 17 and we initiated him to Pat O’Briens! I last saw him at Rob and Joann’s wedding but he was the same fun Rick. My sincere condolences to the entire family as you begin this journey of grief. Hold on to God’s promise of Eternal life and sharing it with Rick. I will be lifting all of you in prayer during this trying time.
