Mildred B. West Lenhoff

Mildred B. West Lenhoff, was born on May 24, 1922 and passed peacefully on May 3, 2018.

Mildred was born on a farm in Sandlick, WV. At six years old she moved to Pemberton, WV to be closer to her elementary school. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Beckley, WV.

She was predeceased by her first husband John P. C. West; her sons, Paul R. & William J. West; her daughter, Anna D. Lewis; her parents, William J. and Lelia Pettry Beckelhimer; her brothers, Woodrow W. and William J. Beckelhimer, Jr. and her sisters, Edna Ramsey, Dora Keith and Lurie Smith.

Survived by husband James T. Lenhoff; her son, John M. West (Jackie); her daughters, Lucia M. Creamer, Wanda R. Mason (Larry), and Sandra S. Tull (Lex); her brothers, Basil C. and Paul H. Beckelhimer of Tennessee; her sisters, Joan Swingle of Springfield, MO, Ivy Pauline Mentz of Mt. Dora, FL and Juanita R. Jackson of Odd, WV; her ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.

Service were private.

A special thanks to John M. West and daughter Cookie Creamer for being primary care givers and to Seasons Hospice, her daughters-in-law Jackie West and Betsy West; her son-in-law, John Lewis and Janice Bennett for helping with her care.

Mrs Lenhoff was always a kind and caring neighbor. She supported my sons (2) fundraising for school & athletics. Encouraged them to do well in school. My heartfelt sympathy to her family.
