Mary Helen (Henry) Riley

Age 91, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Foulk Manor South surrounded by her family.

Lifelong Wilmington resident, Mary was the daughter of the late Edward and Esther (Mundy) Henry.  Her husband, Vincent Riley, predeceased her in 1997 and her brother, Edward J. Henry Jr. predeceased her in 2008.

She will be dearly missed by her daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia M. Accursi (Leo) of Bear and Mary Ann Kelly (Steven) of Pensacola, FL; her sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas J. (Nancy Dean) of West Grove, PA, Michael F. (Jackie) of Bozeman, MT, Terrence “Terry” (Kathy) of Newark, DE, Matthew V. of Newark, DE, Paul (Wendy) of Shelburne, VT and John E. (Colleen) of Chicago, IL; her 18 grandchildren, Michael, Jeffrey and Christopher Accursi, Mark Wessel, Allison Delfin, Diane Wessel, Courtney Kelly, Patrick Riley, Maura Riley, Shannon Riley, Klaire Mitchell, Kristopher Mitchell, Erin Riley, Sean Riley, Kendra Riley, Luke Riley, Brooke Riley-Hallock, Eve Riley-Hallock; and 16 great grandchildren.  Also surviving are her sisters, Esther W. Weik, Margaret Anne Henry and Alice H. Sheehan, all of Wilmington; and her brothers, Rev. Paul Henry of Baltimore, MD and Thomas A. Henry of Wilmington, DE.

The family would like to thank the staff of Foulk Manor South for 4 years of loving care that was provided to our mother.

Friends and family are invited to visitation after 11 AM at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington where funeral services will begin at 12PM on Tuesday June 25th, 2019.  Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Delaware Hospice, 6 Polly Drummond Shopping Center, Newark, DE 19711.
