Mark E. Bamforth

Mark E. Bamforth, age 52, suddenly left for his final journey of life on July 16, 2017 in Wilmington, Delaware.

Born November 5, 1964, he was the son of the late Barbara E. Bamforth and John R. Bamforth, Sr. of Mineral, Virginia. 

Mark achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America and also belonged to the Order of the Arrow. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in the 7th Signal Command at the Pentagon.  A self-proclaimed transportation engineer, Mark took pride in all his endeavors.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his brother, John Bamforth, Jr. and his wife, Joan; his sister, Lori Pascoe and her husband, James and their daughter, Aniayah; and many other nieces and nephews.

Committal services will be held on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE 19701.
