My deepest condolences to you and your family , I'm sending my condolences from Ireland. My sister Dee Seymour sent Lukas some Irish chocolate a few months ago n she's been keeping me updated on Lukas''s condition. We both cried on Tuesday when we got the sad news. I can only imagine your heartbreak at the loss of your beautiful baby . Lukas is flying on angels wings but it's far too soon for him . Lukas fought his battle with bravery and dignity at such a young age . We are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers . R.I.P. Lukas xxx

My heart aches for Rebecca, Richard and the Kusters, Burmeff family to lose recently in death your precious loved one Lukas after just 10 way too short years, way too young, way too soon. When death robs us of someone we love very much, it causes much sadness and grief. No other pain will ever be greater than the pain of losing a child, so words are so limited that can give comfort, so I would like to share with you beautiful scripture where Jesus makes us a wonderful promise at John 5:28, which says: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..." . Our loving heavenly Father, Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) promises us to do away with man's worst enemy, death at Rev. 21: 4 which reads: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again. For more comforting scriptures please visit: It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises including the resurrection. John 6:40 Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. I offer my sincere condolences to the family. Feel free to contact me at my email address: May these promises give you hope, comfort and peace in your time of grief. I pray it will do your heart good to please watch this beautiful video (song 144) entitled "Keep Your Eyes on the Prize"

Rebecca (Mom) and Debbie (Grandmom). Leah and I are so sorry for the loss of such a beautiful boy. We have thought of him often. My heart is breaking for you all. You certainly got it right when you said he touched so many lives. We only knew him a short amount of time meeting at DuPont, but we were very fond of him. I'm so glad I got to come and visit him when I did. He will be missed deeply. Fly high angel!!

My name is Vicki Ferrol, and I am from Palm Harbor Florida. I am writing this in hopes that despite 4 months have passed it meets your eyes. I am Interventional Radiologist who has lost a several very young “Angels”. For me, one child lost, is one child too many. I came across Lukas’s name while researching why QB Carson Wentz was affiliated with the title “The Dutch Destroyer”. As a Dutch national (proudly Aruba born) I was curious. I thought perhaps Carson Wentz had Dutch ancestry and therefore his nickname. I was very sad instead to read about his affiliation with the nickname. I have read every online article about Lukas, and although I haven’t unfortunately met him I can see he was a very very special boy. Even four months after his unfortunate passing, he has surely touched my heart. I am sure I am not the only one, for even though they haven’t commented here I know he is surely in their hearts. I truely believe that no elapsed time will allow healing; I know his wonderful memories are in your hearts. Whenever one of those memories come to your heart, smile for Lukas is also smiling while thinking of you. When his siblings plan any task, whether good or bad, they will think will Lukas do this; will Lukas approve if I do? Will Lukas say “I wouldn’t do that”! He will be their guide through their entire lives. He will be there for you mom; whenever you need him, for whatever you will need him for. Lukas is now your guiding “Angel”, as well as the guiding “Angel” for Jonathan, Anthony, Travis, and Caden. I am also positive other family members and his friends will also seek Lukas as their guide. I know that I will think of him and speak of him often; I have saved his photo and his story to share with my 7 grandchildren whenever they cry “but I can’t ...... I will answer “I can’t is another word for I don’t want to”; adding “Lukas’s story to the point where all I need to say is Lukas...., and they repeat “Lukas was a fighter, and he never gave up!” I guarantee you his story will be so embedded in their hearts and minds; it will carry over to their children, their grandchildren, and from there, who knows. Lukas is now embedded in my heart. I will never ever forget his name nor his story. God bless you all. May he keep you in his heart. Please accept my condolences. May you travel this difficult journey with all the strength you need. Although he will never be forgotten; may his loss hurt less as each year passes, and his memories grow stronger. God Bless You All.
