Lorraine A. Angelini

Age 84, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully at Regal Heights on Thursday, February 8, 2018 surrounded by her family.

Born in Camden, NJ, Lorraine was the daughter of the late John M. and Leokadya (Bartowski) Czerwinski. For over 15 years, she worked for the Division of Motor Vehicles. She had previously worked for Bell Telephone and Sears. She was predeceased by her husband, Vito J. Angelini, Jr., her son, Gerard V. Angelini, her sister, Ileane Markiewicz and her brothers John and Frank Czerwinski.

Lorraine will be dearly missed by her daughters Lorraine Angelini-Proud, Anita and David Juliano, Ava and Edward Schiavi, all of Wilmington, and Angela and Mark Smolka of Ft. Myers, FL. Also surviving are her 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, so far. Lorraine found her enjoyment in life spending time with her family. Nothing was more important to her then helping them enjoy their lives and enjoy the little things.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, February 10th at St. Matthew’s Church, 1013 E. Newport Pike, Newport. Entombment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington.

I’m so sorry for your loss. There is nothing more painful than losing a loved one. I would like to share an encouraging scripture from the Bible. Revelation 21:4 says And he will wipe out every tears from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Please read this scripture accompanied with your Bible. I hope you get the comfort and the peace that you deserve during this time of bereavement.
