Gary A. Kirby, Jr.

Gary A. Kirby, Jr. passed away on August 5th, 2018 in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Born in Maryland, he was the son of the late Barbara Shipley and Gary Kirby, Sr. He had several occupations, including working as a dredgeman for a local union, working for Chrysler, and owning and operating his own landscaping business. Gary loved music, especially playing his guitar and singing. He also loved spending time at the beach. In addition, Gary was an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Denver Broncos.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Keri Booth (Brian); his grandchildren, Rowan Shankaras and Olivia Booth; his sisters, Colleen Kirby, Cheryl Moog, and Cindy Jett; his niece, Cecelia Kirby; and his stepmother, Mary Jane Kirby.

A visitation will be held on Friday August 17th from 2 PM to 3 PM, with funeral services beginning at 3 PM, at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Attack Addiction at PO Box 36, Bear, DE 19701.

Burial will be private.
