Condolences to all of Liz’s family as well as her SICU friends who I know she counted as her family. As a clinical educator at University of Delaware I cannot count the number of students and new graduates that Liz took under her wing in the SICU over a 15 year span that I worked with her. With every visit and every student I would always find the two with huge smiles deep in a situation, conversation or her fun loving educational bantering/quizzing which they all loved. I always told her how much I appreciated what she did for every one of those students. She would shrug it off...she was a fabulous nurse and fabulous educator. Produced many awesome nurses! Will miss you Liz!
