Janvier, Sr. and was a graduate of Delcastle Technical High School. He acted and did production work in musical theater. He enjoyed flea marketing and loved Christmas and Hallmark Christmas movies.
Gary A. Kirby, age 76, of Bear, DE passed away peacefully on Monday April 16th at Seasons Hospice. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Anna (Johansen) and Alfred Kirby. He worked as a Production Engineer at Dupont, prior to his retirement.

Norma A. Rivera, 78 passed away peacefully on Friday, April 13, 2018 at the home of her daughter Maribel surrounded by her family and friends. Norma was born in Esteli, Nicaragua, the daughter of the late Jose and Selfida Molina. In her native country she was a teacher.
Nancy Applegate Valiante passed away peacefully on April 13, 2018, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Michael, and their beloved daughter Krista. Born June 21, 1953 she was the daughter of the late Walter and Marian Applegate. Although raised mainly in her hometown of Wilmington, Nancy also spent significant portions of her life in Ocean City, NJ.

Joseph J. Alisa, 87 of Wilmington passed away peacefully at the Lorelton Nursing Home on Friday, April 6, 2018. Joe was born in Carbondale, PA the son of Columbia (Seneca) and Domenick Alisa. He worked as a union bricklayer for over 50 years and was a member of St. John the Beloved Church and the Sons of Italy, Prince of Piedmont Lodge. He enjoyed spending time with his family, was a loyal fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and he also enjoyed watching classic movies.
Ursuline Sister Marie Albert Walsh, OSU, 96, died April 3, 2018, in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York, her home since 2009. Born in Yonkers, New York, to Albert and Mary Harding Walsh, she entered the Ursuline Order in 1946 in Beacon, New York, where she pronounced her first vows in 1949. A graduate of The College of New Rochelle, she also held a Master’s degree from Fordham University.

Born and raised in Akron, OH to Jason and Miriam Rieger, she moved to New York City and met her soon-to-be husband Joseph Jaeger. After wedding and beginning their family in New York City, they moved to Delaware for Joseph to continue his career with the DuPont company.

Born in Wilmington, DE, Helen was the daughter of the late Jacob and Eleanor (Meller) Markiewicz. She worked on the assembly line for Ronson for over 30 years. Helen was a member of St. John the Beloved Parish, a former member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church and a former member of the Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality at St. Stanislaus.
