Our matriarch, our Babcia, Eleanor Wykpisz passed away Thursday, March 23 at her home at the age of 108. She was born in Wilmington on October 5, 1908 and was raised in Browntown. Her father owned Lesnizak Bakery on Brown Street. She attended St. Hedwig's School and graduated from Goldey Business School. After she married, she worked at the Visiting Nurses Association and St. Francis Hospital.
Marjorie Georgia (Downs) Tennant, age 89, peacefully passed away on March 17, 2017 in her Middletown, DE residence. She was born in Moundsville, WV, a daughter of the late Georgia P. (Goddard) and Percy K. Downs. She was the youngest of eight, all predeceased, and graduated from Hundred HS, Hundred, WV.
Constance Mae Williams, born July 16, 1927 to Willard Ensol Williams and Emma Minnie Nelson in Cokeville, Wyoming. She grew up on a farm with her siblings. She never talked much about her family and the difficult life growing up on the farm. As a child she loved horses and poetry. The highlight of her life was the day she met and fell in love with Donald James O'Day during college. They soon married and later had their marriage sealed for time and all eternity in the LDS Temple.

Our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, W. Janina Konwinska passed away on March 16, 2017. She was born in Siennica, Poland, about 35 miles east of Warsaw. Her 17th birthday, September 3, 1939, coincided with the invasion of her beloved country and the start of WWII. Within two weeks the invading forces had destroyed over 80% of her hometown, Siennica.

Born in Wilmington, DE to the late Anna (Wagner) and John Grochowski, Regina graduated from Wilmington High School and attended Goldey Beacom College. She retired from DuPont where she worked as a secretary.

On March 5, 2017, the world lost one of the greatest fathers, husbands, sons, siblings, teachers, and scholars on the planet. Raymond Paternoster, who was born on February 29, 1952, was taken much too early from so many people who loved him. He died in the arms of his wife, Ronet Bachman, and son, John Bachman-Paternoster, after a nearly 3-month herculean battle against idiopathic pancreatitis.

Leonard “Len” E. Egnor, age 82, of Dagsboro, Delaware passed away on Thursday, February 23rd from lung cancer.
Marybeth Morrissey, 53 of Sacramento, CA formerly of Wilmington passed away on February 19, 2017 at her home. Marybeth was born in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Anne (Roddy) and the late Elmer Lee Morrissey. She attended St. Mark’s High School and graduated from St. Mary’s School, Gerrards’ Cross, England and worked as an underwriter in the real estate and banking industries. She was predeceased by her loving father, Elmer in 1996.
Anne Hafner, age 85, of Newark, DE passed away at her home on March 2nd 2017. Anne Georgina (McCabe) Hafner was born in Dublin, Ireland and formerly lived in Baltimore, MD.
Richard Joseph Turnbull. Sr., 70, went peacefully back home on February 22, 2017. He leaves behind his daughter, Kimberly Ciliberti (Michael), son, Richard "Rick" Turnbull, Jr and one grandson, Dominic.
Joe passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. Joe was born in Southwest Philadelphia, PA on March 3, 1949. He graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. Degree in Psychology. Joe was a regional service advisor for Subaru of America and Kia Motors for many years.
Thomas J. Chisholm, Jr. was granted his angel wings on February 26, 2017. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Thomas J. and May Jackson Chisholm and was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System. Tom was a graduate of West Philadelphia High School. He matriculated to Lincoln University, Pennsylvania later graduating from Temple Uni-versity where he was initiated into his beloved fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi at the Temple Univer-sity Chapter, the Lambda of Kappa.
Paul E. Winkelman, 91 of Newark passed away peacefully on February 28, 2017 at Seasons Hospice.
